New England Patriots (10-5)
Hey Fellow Patriots Fans!!!!
Wow what a great game! It reminded me of the old days. Well, not
that old. Remember 2003 with all the snow fireworks against the
Dolphins? Pretty cool. It seems like it has been a while since the
Patriots played in the snow. Anyway, the Patriots totally destroyed
the Arizona Cardinals yesterday at Gillette Stadium by a final score
of (47-7). The Patriots are now (10-5) and are still tied for the AFC
East lead. The other good news yesterday came from Seattle as Mike
Holmgren’s final game at Qwest field as head coach was featured in the
win over the New York Jets. The Jets are now (9-6) and in order for
them to win the division they need the Patriots to loose Sunday in
Buffalo and they need to beat the Dolphins. The Dolphins are (10-5)
and are tied with the Pats. They only have to win the game to win the
division. The Patriots need to win and have the Jets beat the
dolphins to repeat as division champions. The Patriots also have to
have the Ravens loose their game next week and win in Buffalo if they
are to win the wild card spot behind the Indianapolis Colts who have
clinched the number five seed Thursday in Jacksonville. The victory
by the Patriots marked the 10th consecutive time the Patriots have won
in the snow in Foxborough.

Game Notes
Anquon Boldin and J.J. Arrington did not start for Arizona. Tedy
Bruschi was out for New England. The Cardinals would be held to 0
yards in the first quarter and only 55 for the first half. Russ
Hochstien would make his debut checking in at the full back position
in the first quarter. At one point, New England held the Cardinals to
6 straight three and outs after Arizona had only 25 all season.
Stephen Gostkowski broke the franchise single season record with
successful field goals after getting his 32nd, 33rd and 34th. He
passed Tony Franklin in that department who had the franchise record
of 32 successful field goals he held since the 1980’s
